SCHEDULING NOTE: This position will require NIGHT shift work as well as some WEEKEND work days. This position is an entry level job that requires close supervision & on-the-job training. The incumbent receives specific and detailed instruction concerning required tasks and expected results. The incumbent performs a variety of routine tasks to gain experience and familiarization with the engineering staff and company methods, practices and programs.
As the incumbent progresses, limited independence may be assigned to some tasks with work being reviewed for desired results and adherence to established policies and procedures.

We have 15 Branch Office locations throughout the Southeast, two of which were added just this past year. The Accounting Department needs an additional Accountant to help manage our increase in business.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and about 5 years of experience. This position will be required to work IN-OFFICE during normal business hours in our Birmingham Corporate Office located in the Irondale area.

A Level I Technician will have a minimum of 6 months experience and a current ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician certification.
This position exists for the purpose of providing testing observation on the assigned field project according to the applicable specification for independent testing laboratories. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sample preparation, collection & testing, field observations, and documentation of construction activities on site pertaining to soil, concrete, grout, mortar and asphalt. The position requires the incumbent to clearly identify, verbally communicate, and document test results and activities.
