What you’ll do
- Work on active construction sites performing basic materials tests and field observations (concrete, soils, asphalt) under supervision.
- Assist drill crews and technicians with sample collection, equipment setup, and basic lab tasks.
- Record accurate field data, prepare reports, and maintain test equipment.
- Follow safety plans and site-specific procedures to keep people and projects safe.
- Complete company-provided training and pursue industry certifications (ACI, ICC, NICET) with company support.

Who you are
- No experience required — we’ll train you. Candidates with basic construction skills, outdoor work experience, or a mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Able to lift ~50 lbs, stand and move outdoors for long periods, and work in varied weather.
- Strong attention to detail, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a crew.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
